Seeing it in action

Here is a easy way to see the GMXT in action if you don't have the GPS receiver yet! Just to pump the adrenaline.

Start Garmin Mobile XT.


On the Main Screen, go to Menu > Tools.


Select Manage My Data.


Select Routes.


Select Create New Saved Route.


Select From Find Menu.


Select Addresses.


Follow the instructions to enter the address. Press Select once done.


Follow similar procedure to select destination.


Press Select once done.


Select None for intermediate points.


Choose route calculation method.


Route is being calculated.


The route is automatically saved for future reference.


Press Go!

Starting point is shown. To see the simulation proceed further.


Use the back key to go back to the main screen. Select Menu > Tools.

Select Simulate Route.

Simulation starts.
